​This month we are talking to Lizzi Flaherty of Food! ByLizzi

​Where are you based?

We are based in a small village just a few miles outside of beautiful Bury St Edmunds.

 

​How long have you been in business – is it a family/traditional business?

We are a pretty new business and have only been trading since April of this year! We would like to think of ourselves as a traditional business, using methods of cooking taught by Grandma and in turn Mum, producing good, wholesome vegetarian food and aspiring to the very best in customer service.


 

Tell me a bit about your products – how many different products do you do, which is the most popular, what’s your favourite?

We sell a mixture of entirely vegetarian and vegan savoury and sweet food. Our most popular products being our Savoury Rolls (which look like a traditional sausage roll just without the meat!) and our quiches. The most popular quiche currently is our newest flavour addition, spinach and ricotta, its proving incredibly popular. With the Savoury Rolls we have 4 flavours at the moment which all seem to alternative in popularity but currently double Gloucester and red onion and the tomato and red onion are neck and neck. Our favourites have to be the sun dried tomato, mozzarella and basil savoury roll with a slice of either peanut butter or chocolate cake for a sweet treat afterwards.

I am now a regular stall holder at the Bury St Edmunds regular provisions market, at Sudbury Farmers' Markets and at Lavenham Farmers' Market.
